you say it's your birthday (na na na na na na na naa)

twenty whole years on this earth, impressed? you shouldn't be. i mean, im psyched to be "in my twenties" i suppose. it's just old, that's all. right now i'm at the house with the babies. they're watching tarzan as my mother prepares a birthday tea party fit for a two year old so we can all enjoy my birthday. tonight- crabs and beer on the back deck with friends. a perfect baltimore celebration. 20 more days in this city. in this country.

(speaking of leaving- quick question to my buds out there who have done this abroad thing: im not really anxious about being away from home or being in another country but im most worried about packing for living away for a whole year- any suggestions on the intricacies of euro-living?)
