back and better than ever?

it's been for-effing-ever since i've done anything with this blog, but since i am formally 2dozenyearsold this year i suppose i should rededicate myself to posting my goings on. it's been a year of re-dedication in general, i guess. a very happy and healthy year. i've found myself painting again (thank god!), had 2 tiny solo shows here in baltimore, and am still snaphappy w/ my digital slr. i'm lucky to have made some incredible friends who show incredible support in my endeavors. 08 was pretty crazy, but i know 09's gonna be a fantastic year. so i guess i'll start documenting life again. welcome back.

here i am, me, in the somewhat-present. w/ weird glasses (w/ no frames) but here i am nonetheless, still not giving a shit about punctuation, or cursing for that matter. I'm a bad blogger, i won't deny that. BUT soon, i will have my own artist website, still having to work out details- although i do know one thing, my dear ex-bf, j. phillip nelson, will be creating it for me. i am a dimwit when it comes to making websites, which is why blogger is sweet. i'm somewhat comfortable w/ my lifestyle here in Baltimore and am getting bored w/ not painting and being a scenester/hipster but not the art-practitioner i hoped i'd be... off to Berlin still, this fall (cross your fingers...) any advice? anyone still out there?

andrea is beautiful but looks a little Violet Beauregard-y. violet, you're turning violet, violet 

josh waller comes for a visit. and critiques a kitdillon drawing 

in an anthropologie dressing room. that store is overpriced. i drove home with a "free" shirt. and a hot polaroid 

lalli and julien and i wrote a song entitled "labial trampoline." it totally went platinum 

i spend every summer with these boys. i <3 my summers in long island, p.s. 

missye and i have grown up together. and both look cute in black. at my dad's 50th birthday barbeque

POD and i went for chinese food on the last day of the summer. 

sam and owen love summer taxedermylodge dance parties. i love sam. and owen's hair
